Library 2.0

Library 2.o ever changing; moving right along with all the new technologies. Really great making information more easily accessible to patrons. But a little scary imaging all those shrinking bookshelves, tough letting go of those tendencies to pick up a book to read and flipping a page.

Technorati

Exploring Technorati, lots to take in! So much you can do! A great tool for finding blogs and other information.

Del.icio.us

Hey! Well I've opened a Del.icio.us account. I've used Yahoo's toolbars Bookmarks that you can use anywhere and I like it, but what I really like about Del.icio.us is the ease of adding not only websites but articles as well. This is a very useful tool for organizing or compiling your information for researches and various interests.

Add music to your blog!

Hi Guys!! It's been a while since my last post; been somewhat busy. Found something really cool, how to add music that you like on to your blog. Check out this third-party music service site http://www.imeem.com/home/, as we all know by now with web 2.o apps, we have to register and open an account but its fast, simple and FREE. Search for songs and create a playlist then add your song to the list. Once your playlist is complete you'll be given a Html code to embed to your blog. Copy and paste this onto your add a page element HTML/JavaScript of your blog. I think you guys are going to enjoy this, I am!!

Play Week

Hi! Play week has been very interesting and fun. Played with many online image generators where I was able to add some cool and funny things to my blog. I used this link, http://cooltext.com/, to create my T*K*'s WORLD sign up above. And I was able to add my flag to my blog using, http://www.bannergenerator.org/flags.asp. For those who like to add captions with bubbles onto pictures this link is cool, http://www.addcaptions.com/.
LibraryThing is very interesting and fairly easy to use. Very easy to add titles that you've read and has many options for setting up how to view your library. I found the ability to view other members’ catalogs and their reviews of titles really helpful. You can check out my LibraryThing catalog by clicking the link under My Library on my blogs sidebar.
Rollyo was alright, figured out how to create my own searchroll but I think it still needs some work. I also add my Rollyo search bar to my blog ***SEARCH AT OWN YOUR RISK***!!! HA! HA!
I also want to say to my fellow coworkers that you guys have some cool and interesting blogs!!
